INSPIRE’s three cores provides the following services to members. Some services may be targeted to the PATC³H Implementation science Network, while others are open to researchers, implementers, policy makers, community members, activists and more.

Learning Core

  • Appreciative Inquiry-Based D&I Course: Annual training for early and mid-career trainees
  • INSPIRE Designathon: Annual event to develop proposals into implementable projects. Selected teams receive funding and mentoring
  • Webinars: Recorded sessions for self-paced learning. Coming soon!
  • Consultations: On training & Course development
  • Mentorship: Support for early and mid-stage researchers and practitioners in adaptation, scale-up, and sustainability of interventions

Methods Core

  • Webinars and toolkits: Recorded sessions and toolkits for self-paced learning. Coming soon!
  • Methodology Working Group: Regular convenings of CRC members to share objectives, designs, methods and explore shared preference studies
  • Modeling: We use system science methods to answer key questions
    within and across CRCs
  • Consultations: On randomized trials, data augmentation for large databases, preference methodologies and segmentation, transportability, trajectory modeling, agent-based & compartmental modeling, social network analyses, administrative experience, group model building, costing & cost effectiveness

Engagement Core

  • Community Partnership/Engagement Support: Building collaborative partnerships with diverse stakeholders

  • Co-creation Approaches: Collaborative problem-solving with diverse stakeholders (i.e. crowdsourcing)

  • Dissemination Strategies: Identify creative ways to share research products beyond academic settings. Identify communication experts, graphic designers and media outlets.

  • Youth Advisory Board Consultation: Our YAB offers input on promotional materials, questionnaires, surveys, and interview guides with a focus on youth-centric language and approaches. 

  • Evaluation: Support and evaluation of the impact of your dissemination/engagement efforts.
